First Alert 7 came out to our first gathering on the south lawn of the Midland County Courthouse and ran a story on it.
Reporter Ixchel Villarreal covered how the morning works: fourteen banners set up across the lawn, each one standing for a different part of the city, from government workers and law enforcement to first responders and schools. People move between them and pray for whichever area is on their heart.
Darrell Dunton, who coordinates Pray2Gather, put it simply in the piece: We have banners that indicate different areas within our city.
